Sacha Raine (formerly Sacha Taylor) is a ceramicist from Meanjin, Brisbane

Sacha is in her nineth year working with clay and is known for her collaborative work with hospitality venues along the east coast of Australia. Over the years, she has worked alongside virtuosos to learn and grow as an artist.

As well as functional ware, Sacha focuses on conceptual curiosity to create sculptural objects that offer a sense of calm and quiet confidence. She is intentional in her making, her form and shaping is heavily influenced by modern architecture. The tones of her work mirror the Australian landscape, coupled with neutral glazes to preserve and celebrate the natural colour of the clay itself.
